Taught by bilingual teachers, the Česko Britská Základní Škola (ČBZŠ) combines the Czech National Curriculum with the International Primary Curriculum, for families who want both languages and both school systems.
The curriculum
ČBZŠ students learn core subjects and languages within the Czech curriculum, while English is taught every day through a dedicated English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme — so English grows naturally alongside, not instead of, their first language.
Because ČBZŠ shares both campuses and facilities with its sister school PBIS, students meet classmates from all over the world every day, building real confidence in English and an early, natural understanding of other cultures. Small class sizes mean teachers can tailor learning to each child’s needs, interests and pace.
English taught every day alongside the Czech curriculum.
Around 18 pupils per class, with learning tailored to each child.
